Job Summary The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator position will oversee the management of the National Security Big Bet. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Arts & Letters, the Project Coordinator will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to advance the initiatives of National Security at UNG and work with leadership to promote and manage the activities of the initiative. Responsibilities Program Administration: Oversees the day-to-day management of the National Security Big Bet. Coordinates with UNG National Security Leadership on priorities including implementing priorities and identifying resources such as grants and contracts, supporting development efforts, and working with Administrative Assistant. Coordinates with other UNG offices to meet the needs of the program. Manages budget. Supervises Student Workers, as needed. Manages Communication, Outreach and Recruitment: Design and implement strategies to promote the program both internally to UNG students, faculty, and staff and externally to alumni and community partners. Coordinate Federal, State, and Regional Internship Opportunities including working with external stakeholders to manage internship opportunities, work to identify appropriate students for those internships, and department level internship coordinators Designs and Maintains Media Presence on webpage, social media, and other media Plans and Manages Events related to National Security Big Bet including public lectures, visiting scholars and guests, and conferences Other Job Duties as Assigned Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong Critical Thinking Skills Excellent Oral and Written Communication Abilities Ability to Multitask in a fast-paced environment Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree Required Three years of project management or relevant experience Proposed Salary The proposed salary for this position is: 50,957-56,052.
