Primary Responsibilities Support the planning and execution of enterprise growth programs and events, including documentation management and file organization, executive material preparation, and stakeholder communications. Assist with attendee communications, speaker coordination and logistical planning with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. Support onsite meeting / meeting room scheduling and coordination as needed. Collaborate with internal teams to help coordinate end-to-end event project management-ensuring project plans are maintained accurately and timelines and deliverable are met. Assist in compiling data for event performance reporting and insights post-event. Help maintain an up-to-date repository of event assets, templates, and best practices for team use. Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional peers. Contribute to ad hoc projects and department initiatives, as assigned. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Must be 18 years of age OR older 2+ years of experience in event coordination, marketing or a related area Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Written and verbal communication skills Must have valid Minnesota drivers license Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with event and project management tools or platforms Familiarity with virtual / hybrid event formats and related technologies Interest in event management, event design development and stakeholder engagement Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work with ambiguity Telecommuting Requirements Reside within commutable distance to the office at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. Soft Skills Ability to meet deadlines, manage several tasks simultaneously and make recommendations for process improvement. Collaborator with a proactive mindset. Comfortable supporting multiple projects and stakeholders. All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
