Program Coordinator, Student Engagement & Belonging Apply
The Program Coordinator for Student Engagement & Belonging (SEB) is responsible for working closely with the SEB Director and Program Manager to develop, implement, and improve a variety of belonging, community building, involvement, academic success, and further programming and initiatives. Additionally, the Program Coordinator will maintain relationships with student leaders, internal and external partners, and SEB staff to ensure SEB programming furthers broader Eccles School goals around belonging, student experience, and resource efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve Eccles School-wide student engagement events and initiatives, including back-to-school welcome programming, semesterly involvement fairs, and student leader orientation.
- Develop, implement, and improve Eccles School wellness and support events and initiatives, including professional development workshops, staff and faculty community-building, and Eccles Week of Belonging.
- Support student organization leaders by providing guidance on best practices, coordination of initiatives, and operational support as needed.
- Support additional school-wide programming & initiatives as needed.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Business Tutoring Center, including scheduling tutors, responding to student inquiries, and coordinating marketing.
- Foster & maintain partnerships with key departments such as the Belonging Cohorts, Business Career Success, and Alumni Relations & Development.
- Deliver presentations to students, staff, and faculty, as needed.
- Work with SEB Director and Program Manager in managing office operations, including team morale, department budget, and supervision & mentorship of student staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
