Actively oversees and directs the work of Custodians to ensure that work is completed to contract specifications within quality standards. Responsible for the timely and quality completion of custodial services for all assigned facilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs and leads custodial crews towards the completion of assigned tasks in conformance with contract requirements. Assigns and communicates custodial tasks to Custodians to ensure that work is completed in the time allotted, using safe practices, and within contract specifications. Responsible for ensuring that all Custodians have the equipment, supplies, and knowledge of how to use each prior to the start of each shift. Utilizes assigned electronic applications to document the timely completion of work and any discrepancies versus standards. Demonstrates a high-level of custodial knowledge regarding the materials, methods, and practices used in custodial operations. Continuously works with Custodians to increase effectiveness and improve custodial techniques by providing hands on training and support. Works with shift supervisors, project management, and case managers to develop performance feedback that will assist in the growth of Custodians. Responsible for the security and possession of issued Goodwill and government property, including, but not limited to, building keys, entrances to facilities, utilities in facilities, cleaning supplies, and equipment. Completes requested daily paperwork and reports needed to ensure shift operations are operating effectively, such as time & attendance functions, maintenance logs, vehicle inspections, issuance of uniforms, and more. Monitors supply & equipment usage; communicates to management, as appropriate, the effectiveness of those materials and needs for additional products or reordering. Assist employees in maintaining a safe working environment by following safety procedures. Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED HS diploma/GED with 1-3 years previous custodial experience or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Proficient in reading, writing and basic arithmetic (add, subtract, divide and multiply). Must be able to utilize technology as required, including computers and phone/tablet applications. Must be able to pass required security clearances, background screening including criminal background and Federal Security Clearance. Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy. Must be willing to lead by example with a strong work ethic and standard for operational excellence. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Ability to express self well in oral and written form. Ability to understand and follow explicit instructions, both in oral and written form. #J-18808-Ljbffr
