Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Program Director to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Redding, CA. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions to individuals seeking recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.


Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct on-site clinical staff.
  • Conduct monthly inventory checks and place orders as necessary.
  • Works closely with the Clinical Director to develop and manage program services and budgets.
  • Report any maintenance, site, or IT issues, and collaborate with the appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution and completion.
  • Identify and report on risk management and compliance issues.
  • Oversee and manage client incidents, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively, and ensure that incident reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Facilitate appropriate therapeutic groups and individual therapy sessions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients.
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Support clients through crisis intervention and management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Facilitate family involvement in the treatment process when appropriate.
  • Stay current with best practices in mental health and addiction counseling.
  • May have a limited caseload as necessary.


Qualifications

  • Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor, APCC, ACSW or AMFT,required.
  • Must haveat leasttwo (2) yearsofexperienceworking with individuals with substance usedisorder.
  • Must have andmaintaina validCaliforniadrivers license, clean driving record, andmaintainpersonal auto insurance coverage.
  • Current CPRand First Aidcertificationsarerequired.
  • Must havea currentTB test or chest x-ray.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providingservices needed to clients.
  • Previoussupervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in electronicchartingpreferred.
  • Experience with conducting client groupsessions, and one on one sessions is required.
  • Strong understanding of theprinciplesand application of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
  • Knowledgeand understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strongorganizationalskillswith superiorattentionto detail
  • Excellent interpersonalskills
