Director of Construction\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\Program Directorresponsibilities include:
Managing a team of Project Managers and Superintendents building and renovating 50 multifamily units.
Creating profit thru vendor negotiations.
Creating budgets.
Managing people.
Maintaining company standards, policies and procedures.
Overseeing construction activities and providing guidance and direction to project managers, staff, subcontractors and vendors.
Regularly inspecting job sites to ensure workmanship quality, safety compliance and customer satisfaction.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Knowledge of all aspects of the construction process.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to plan, prioritize, delegate, and review the work process to assure quality, accuracy and timeliness in meeting project goals.
Ability to work on projects independently and with teams.
Qualificationinclude:
5 years experience in a construction-related field, such as design, engineering, construction management, etc.
Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Strong customer service, negotiations, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
Familiarity with construction software programs, such as Sage 300, Builder Trend, Procore, Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Project. (Willing to train if you don't have background on all systems.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
