Program Manager Apply
- This position will directly support the Sentinel Program and the RSRV Section.
- Provide expert advice and support to the government leaders and engineers on all aspects of program documentation.
- Work closely with project schedulers, assist with budget management and plan milestone events for each assigned project.
- Assist in the preparation of regular Program Management Review briefs on the status of each assigned project.
- Perform specific, routine project or technical tasks within defined scope of management responsibilities.
- Perform project/technical management for assigned subsystem(s).
- Apply and correlate knowledge across disciplines (engineering, logistics, and financial management) to achieve project execution in accordance with assigned cost, schedule & performance requirements.
- Develop and recommend project plans, budgeting positions, and execution strategies.
- Assist in the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product/technical requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints; identify associated risks.
- Provide higher management with status and decision information on project issues.
- Ensure contractual needs/concerns are addressed.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all report/deliverables.
- Participate in company program reviews.
- Perform technical oversight.
- Communicate cost, schedule, and performance with management.
- Provide guidance/solutions as necessary·
- Other duties as assigned
Due to its special-access, classified working environment, this position is only located at Hill AFB, Utah, and is not conducive to telework schedules.
Requirements
- Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or other related field required
- Department of Defense Acquisition certifications desired
- Experience:
- 5+ years of Acquisition Management experience with Government or Industry, at least 3 years of which must be in a Defense acquisition program as either a program or project manager
- 10 yrs experience in direct Program Management, ideally with contracted workloads and DoD Acquisition Programs.
- Preferred Experience:
- Prior ICBM Nuclear Munitions or ICBM Maintenance Background
- Familiarization with AFI 63-125 and firm grasp of Nuclear Surety principles
- Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Secret Clearance Required
- Ability to obtain TS/SAP
