SUMMARY: Responsible for specific accounts in the coordination of development, pricing, manufacture, sale, and continued improvement in all facets of customers' products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following as other duties may be assigned.
- Monitor the identified risk as identified on specific jobs and as assigned and communicate it to any other affected department. If a risk becomes an issue, it will be reported to management for further action.
- Monitor the manufacture of the identified parts as assigned to you for risk mitigation and communicate the risk to the affected departments. If there is an increase in the likelihood of the risk, or the risk becomes an issue, you will communicate to management for further mitigation action.
- Primary contact with Customer in all aspects of sale of product to meet customers' needs.
- Confers with purchasing, engineering, planning, and other personnel to exchange information regarding inventories, schedules, performance, profitability and related issues.
- Coordinates the development of lists of raw materials, purchased parts, equipment, and other items required to manufacture products.
- Develops and analyzes customer data and product specifications to determine present standards and coordinates proposed quality, scheduling and reliability expectancy of finished product.
- Maintains customers' production and quality control objectives complementary to corporate goals and objectives.
- Communicates aspects of inspection criteria and procedures to production and QA managers.
- Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
- Reviews inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
- Reviews with QA all total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes to and from customers.
- Cooperates with purchasing and vendors to ensure quality of all purchased parts / services for company use.
- Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding performance.
- Coordinates the review and evaluation of engineering drawings and blueprints to estimate quantity and type of materials, parts, or other items required.
- Converts requirements to orders of conventional sizes and quantities, considering factors such as existing inventories, unavoidable waste, and kind of material to be used.
- Works with Manufacturing Manager on deliveries based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of purchase requisitions.
- Estimates need to reorder supplies due to rejections and engineering changes during manufacturing cycle.
- Takes dictation and transcribes notes on computer.
- Transfers customer conversations onto job file in ERP system.
- Maintain intimate knowledge of account history, current activities and future opportunities.
- Provide sales forecasts on each individual account assigned.
- Maintain consistent contact with assigned customer base.
- Documents all findings, complaints, successes, corrective actions, conversations, etc. in assigned program files accordingly.
- Works with assigned accounts to increase account business, profitability and encourage referrals or new business.
- Maintain intimate knowledge of industry, customer base and competitors.

- Maintain positive teamwork and morale within assigned division.
- Represent Techniform professionally with all vendors, customers, subordinates, co-workers and superiors.
- Responds to customers’ requirements in a timely manner.
- Attending scheduled meetings prepared.
- Review PO against quote
- Open orders in ERP system.
- Close jobs on network after shipment.
- Bill closed jobs in ERP system.
- Create invoices when job ships.
