Open Door Program ManagerReports To: Open Door Recovery House Board of DirectorsStatus: Full-TimeSchedule: Flexible; includes nights and weekends---Position SummaryThe Program Manager oversees all of the Open Door Recovery House residential recovery programming and Daily Sobriety Program participants to ensure compliance with Open Door policies, recovery standards, and faith-based principles. This role provides hands-on leadership, structure, accountability, and care while fostering a Christ-centered, recovery-informed environment. She oversees, evaluates, improves and implements all aspects of programming of Open Door Recovery House. The Program Manager serves as the primary leader of day-to-day program operations and, alongside the Founder, becomes a public-facing representative of Open Door within the community.---Primary FocusResidential recovery programming oversightDaily Sobriety Program oversightSupport and monitor the Mariah House program ---Core ResponsibilitiesResidential & Daily Sobriety Program OversightOversee all Open Door residents and Daily Sobriety Program participants Ensure compliance with Open Door policies, house rules, and program requirementsOversee daily meetings, community service hours, and required recovery activitiesTrack community service hours and program participationEnsure a recovery-informed, faith-based culture across all programs---New Resident Intake & Case ManagementLead new resident orientation, including: Transportation coordination, Search of personal belongings, Drug testing at intakeDevelop individual resident goals and provide ongoing case managementMonitor resident progress and compliance with recovery plansEnsure required drug testing is completed and properly documentedLead Selection CommitteeCoordinate services and resources to support resident success---Scheduling & AppointmentsManage and anticipate court dates and required appearancesManage the communication needs of scheduling with residents, staff, and volunteers---Daily Sobriety ProgramOversee daily sobriety programEnsure compliance with program expectations and recovery requirementsProvide guidance, accountability, and support to participants---Transportation & LogisticsProvide and coordinate transportation for residentsEnsure transportation coverage during weekdays, weekends, and when CARTS transportation is unavailableOperate within insurance and liability guidelinesCoordinate grocery shopping and household logistical needs---Recovery Leadership & House ActivitiesLead by example, modeling a sober, healthy, faith-based lifestyleLead or participate in house meetings as needed (Bible study, Big Book, recoveryfocused groups)Enforce house rules and recommend policy revisions when necessaryAssist residents in problem-solving and conflict resolutionAdminister random drug testing as requiredDemonstrate knowledge of licit and illicit substances and ensure proper handling and disposal---Safety, Facilities & CommunicationIdentify and report safety concerns to the Office Administrator and/or Board of DirectorsMaintain confidentiality and protect resident privacy and house locationCommunicate general house and vehicle conditions and submit maintenance requests to Office AdministratorInform residents at least 24 hours in advance of repair workers entering the property---Collaboration, Reporting & Public RepresentationWork closely with Open Door staff, vendors, volunteers, and donorsCompile and present a monthly report to the Board of DirectorsBecome a public-facing representative of Open Door alongside the FounderParticipate in speaking engagements and community activities as schedule permits---Position RequirementsBelief in and commitment to the mission and vision of Open DoorHigh School Diploma, GED, or higherAbility to maintain strict confidentialityFirst-hand knowledge, experience and understanding of 12-Step recovery programs and Christian principles and faith-based recoveryExperience in a social services, recovery, customer service, or client-facing environmentStrong organizational and time management skills with the experience in delegation and prioritization in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated empathy, compassion, and sensitivity toward all clientsAbility to manage high-stress and crisis situation calmly and effectivelyStrong verbal and written communications skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office or Equivalent (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and OutlookValid Texas driver’s licenseSubmit to random drug testingActively participating in a 12-Step ProgramAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends---Personal & Spiritual ExpectationsDemonstrates a mature Christian faith and commitment to recovery ministryLeads with integrity, compassion, accountability, and healthy boundaries
