Overview Must be a U.S. Citizen . Clearance Required: SECRET. Functional Description The CAD/PAD T&E SME supports the Program Manager for CAD/PAD with technical and programmatic support of all the CAD/PAD test and evaluation activities. The SME is expected to communicate risk and issues to the broader CAD/PAD execution team, provide guidance and training to the working-level team members, and provide recommendations to the CAD/PAD IPT on future test and evaluation activities. The CAD/PAD T&E SME shall travel to organic and industrial base test organizations to evaluate test setups, review and evaluate test plans, witness testing that includes ballistic and non-destructive tests, and to include support on Test Readiness Reviews. The CAD/PAD T&E Support SME shall also be capable of remotely reviewing test documentation, to include but not limited to failure investigation documents, failure analysis reports, Lot Acceptance Test, First Article Test, Qualification test, Ordnance Assessment test, test reports, etc. The CAD/PAD T&E SME will also be required to meet the Qualification/Certification program requirements to handle explosives within NSWC IHD installation. This support is expected for all service components of the Navy led CAD/PAD Joint Program Office. The selectee is expected to be consulted on a part-time basis. Salary The projected salary range for this position is $140,000-$150,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary.
