About the Role:

The Program Support Specialist participates in quality assurance efforts and helps ensure compliance with agency policy and relevant DHHS, MaineCare, & Department of Education regulations across assigned programs, primarily focused on Fraser Ford School. The Program Support Specialist demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and skill in the use of the Electronic Health Record and various technology systems, monitors a variety of due dates, communicates effectively with leadership, clinicians, and teaching staff, ensures accurate and compliant client records, creates and submits reports, and provides program support in meeting audit and policy requirements.

$24 per hour.

Full-time, 30 hours per week.

About Waypoint:

Waypoint offers comprehensive services, including a special purpose Pre-K through Grade 5 private school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, case management and outpatient therapy services for adults and children, and residential and in-home supports for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

·       Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office suite products

·       Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       Able to prioritize, demonstrate flexibility, and meet deadlines routinely

·       Knowledge of the system of care for children with intellectual disabilities & autism is preferred.

Education/Experience

·       Demonstrated work experience requiring extensive attention to detail

·       Minimum of High School Diploma, associate’s degree preferred

Training will be provided in order to complete assigned tasks
