Position designs and develops entry-level computer programs and supportive documentation.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Codes or modifies, tests and debugs programs and jobs of minimal complexity.
  • Analyzes requirements for business, statistical, technical, mathematical or scientific problems where standard practices apply.
  • Prepares flow charts and necessary documentation.
  • Tests and debugs programs, correcting program errors.
  • Maintains program documentation files.


Preferred Qualifications

Previous programming experience desirable.

Required Qualifications

Equivalent of Bachelors degree in computer science with one year or less experience in programming.

Grade

G10-H

Salary Range

$24.97 - $38.71 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
