Senior Cyber Program Manager (Contract – SOC Client) – Houston or Frisco, TX Candidates may be required to obtain or support compliance‑related background checks based on client requirements. Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale cybersecurity programs, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations Build and manage integrated program plans including milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs Drive weekly execution cadence, issue resolution, and executive‑level reporting Coordinate across Cybersecurity, IT, Network Security, vendors, and third‐party partners Proactively identify risks and escalate issues with clear mitigation strategies Manage corporate and vendor teams to design, build, and implement solutions to complex internal challenges Provide governance oversight including risk management, compliance tracking, and remediation planning Lead security program initiatives including lab assessments, platform integrations, and audit readiness efforts Oversee implementation of control frameworks and support compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2) Coordinate third‑party risk management (TPRM) strategies and execution Track remediation activities and ensure timely closure of security gaps Translate complex technical issues into clear, executive‑level communications Serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert across advanced technologies and program execution Champion large‑scale initiatives that impact long‑term business objectives Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred 15+ years of experience in program/project management or related roles 8+ years of enterprise‑level program management experience leading large, multi‑workstream initiatives Strong experience in risk, dependency, and stakeholder management Proven ability to deliver complex programs in matrixed IT environments Experience working with tools such as Jira, ADO, Confluence, SharePoint, and Smartsheet Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and operational processes Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks Control framework development and implementation Risk register management and risk framework alignment Experience supporting compliance and certification efforts (ISO 27001, SOC 2) Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) experience Security platform/tool implementation experience Security assessments, reporting, and remediation tracking Knowledge of network and firewall security concepts Experience coordinating IT, networking, and vendor dependencies Audit readiness, evidence gathering, and remediation validation Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Demonstrated leadership in managing cross‑functional teams and large‑scale initiatives PMP Certification required Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity transformations or federal programs Background in highly regulated environments Strong strategic mindset with ability to influence senior leadership Experience serving as a program spokesperson or executive liaison Employment Prerequisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.
