This team member will build a portfolio of IPS business collaborating with a supportive internal team with agent and carrier professionals. You will have the opportunity to help create and continuously improve underwriting guidelines, efficient workflows and operational processes that deliver optimal value for clients and partner stakeholders. In this role, you will exhibit the ability to understand client business operations and apply underwriting expertise to create best in class risk solutions and services. Essential Responsibilities Develop and negotiate price, coverage terms and conditions for all new and renewal business generating profitable and sustainable growth. Collaborate with agents and brokers and align with carrier appetite and IPS guidelines. Manages and underwrites an IPS portfolio of business. Qualifications Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry at a brokerage or provider organization. Licensing: Active state specific Life & Health/Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire. Skills & Technical Competencies: Consistent ability and willingness to engage in both internal and external educational opportunities to enhance their knowledge of current insurance topics and relevant system improvements.
