This role will be pivotal to the successful management of their growing affordable housing development portfolio! As the company expands from three to seven active construction projects, they are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant who thrives in an evolving environment. For them, this is not just a numbers game; it's about contributing to a mission of creating homes that make a difference. Your expertise in multi-entity accounting will guide their financial decisions and ensure smooth operations as they navigate these exciting new projects.Required Skills:Multi-Entity Accounting Experience: Essential for managing funds and tracking costs across various entities.Basic Accounting Principles: A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals; at least 3 years of traditional accounting experience.Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to switch gears seamlessly and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, growing environment.Business Acumen: A sharp sense of urgency to know what needs to be done, especially regarding timely payments and prioritizing essential tasks.Curiosity and Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to grasp the "why" behind financial tasks and a commitment to continuous professional growth.Team Player: A collaborative spirit, open to working with others and receptive to new methods.Nice to Have Skills:Understanding of construction accounting, including familiarity with construction draws and pay applications.Strong background in real estate development or property management.Other Requirements:This position is fully on-site initially, with an opportunity for remote work now and again as you demonstrate your capabilities.Ability to handle financial operations that require meticulous record-keeping and timely execution.If you're ready to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a supportive workplace that values flexibility and growth, we encourage you to apply today!
