Position Overview The Project Accountant supports daily accounting operations and serves as a liaison between project management and accounting. This role is responsible for project setup, cost tracking, budget variance analysis, and driving the invoicing process.Key ResponsibilitiesProject setup, budgeting, and subcontract/PO issuanceManage change orders and billing processesPrepare monthly pay applications and T&M ticketsMonitor project costs and communicate variancesReview billing reports to ensure timely invoicingSupport audits and collaborate with accounting teamApprove AP invoices (as assigned)Requirements2–4 years of accounting experienceStrong attention to detail and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines independentlyPreferredBachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experienceConstruction industry experience (3+ years)Familiarity with Vista (Viewpoint) and ProcoreEqual Opportunity Employer We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at all levels.
