The Project Accountant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the division by managing and supporting all financial functions, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures. This role requires prior construction experience, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities.

Requirements

·         Act as liaison between Operations Department and Office Team.

·         Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports with accuracy and in a timely manner.

·         Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring prompt follow-up on outstanding balances.

·         Reconcile monthly statements and resolve any discrepancies with vendors and clients.

·         Maintain and organize accurate financial records, including data entry of financial transactions.

·         Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and reviewing financial statements for accuracy.

·         Assist in monitoring and tracking departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to approved spending limits.

·         Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and reporting standards.

·         Participate in finance-related projects and contribute to the implementation of new processes and systems.

·         Assist with payroll administration.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Experience: 2+ years in a finance or accounting support role. (highly perferred)

Skills:

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

·         Experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks & NetSuite).

·         Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

·         Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.

·         Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers.

·         Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
