We are seeking a Project Analyst to support project financial performance, forecasting, and reporting within our automation business. What Will Be Your Role? As a Project Analyst, you will support the financial management and reporting of complex automation projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance leadership, you will analyze budgets, monitor costs, maintain project financial data, and ensure timely and accurate reporting. You will provide analytical support throughout the full project lifecycle—from sales handoff through commissioning and closeout—ensuring project teams have clear financial visibility and actionable insights. This role is ideal for a data-driven finance professional who enjoys detailed analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and improving financial processes. What Do We Expect From You? Core Responsibilities Support financial oversight of assigned projects across all phases. Analyze project budgets, forecasts, and actual costs. Maintain project financial data in ERP and reporting systems. Monitor labor hours, purchasing costs, subcontractor expenses, and revenue tracking. Assist in identifying cost deviations and support corrective actions. Prepare recurring financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly). Assist in working capital analysis and cash flow tracking. Support month-end close and forecasting processes. Conduct variance analysis and support post-project financial reviews. Ensure accurate project documentation and administrative compliance. Support process improvement initiatives within project finance. Assist with special projects including R&D tracking, capital projects, and financial modeling. Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, project accounting, or manufacturing finance. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics/Navision preferred). Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling). Understanding of cost tracking and revenue recognition in a project-based environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders. CPA or CMA pursuit is a plus. Proficiency in English. Work Environment Office-based with regular interaction on the production floor. Collaborative, cross-functional team setting. Travel Requirement Occasional domestic travel (up to 10%).
