We are seeking a motivated and experienced Project Architect who is passionate about transforming communities through innovative, thoughtful design and who thrives in a collaborative, energetic, and professional team environment.
We are looking for a candidate to serve as a leader in the design production and will work closely with each discipline in the development of projects from beginning to end, focusing on budget, scheduling, design, client and consultant communication and coordination, QA/QC, construction administration, and project close out for all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as Project Architect responsible for technical execution and delivery of projects
• Lead internal project teams and mentor junior staff
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers
• Facilitate client meetings and present design solutions with confidence and clarity
• Oversee construction documentation, consultant coordination, and technical detailing
• Respond to RFIs, submittals, and construction-related inquiries during CA phase
Qualifications:
Education & Credentials
• Required
o Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited program required
• Preferred
o Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing licensure)
o LEED accreditation or other sustainability credentials
Experience
• 5+ years of progressive architectural experience, including ownership of commercial projects
• Proven experience managing projects from schematic design through construction administration
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary consultant teams (civil, structural, MEP, landscape, etc.)
• Demonstrated success working directly with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies
Preferred Skills:
Technical Expertise
• Advanced knowledge of building systems, materials, detailing, and constructability
• Strong understanding of IBC and applicable local/state building codes
• Experience with permitting and regulatory approval processes
• Ability to develop comprehensive specifications and review consultant documents
• Skilled in preparing and reviewing all phases of design and construction drawings
Software Proficiency
• Advanced proficiency in Revit required
• Experience with rendering and visualization software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and Adobe Creative Suite
