Job Description:

Project Title: Hybrid Training Program Development for Clinical Laboratory Evaluator 1 in Biobanking Compliance Program

Overview: The project aims to develop a comprehensive training program for Clinical Laboratory Evaluator 1 positions within the Biobanking Compliance Program (BCP). The BCP is responsible for evaluating human milk banks and embryo storage facilities that operate in the state. This training program will leverage a blend of digital and in-person resources, including regulations, published literature, websites, videos, presentations, and interactive workshops. The training will focus on developing subject matter expertise in the program, auditing and inspection skills, effective communication, effective questioning, emotional intelligence, conducting summation, and evaluating and responding to plans of correction (POC).

• Project Title: Hybrid Training Program Development for Clinical Laboratory Evaluator 1 in Biobanking Compliance Program

Objectives (SMART):

• Specific: Design and develop a hybrid training program for Clinical Laboratory Evaluator 1 roles, focusing on key competencies such as in-depth understanding of biobanking regulations, proficiency in auditing and inspection techniques, advanced communication and questioning skills, emotional intelligence, effective conduct of summation meetings, and the ability to evaluate and respond to plans of correction (POC) efficiently.
• Measurable: Ensure the training program includes at least 5 modules, each with an assessment, and achieve a completion rate of 85% among participants.
• Achievable: Create the training program using accessible digital platforms and tools, complemented by in-person workshops and sessions to ensure comprehensive learning.
• Relevant: Enhance the skills and knowledge of evaluators to improve compliance monitoring and regulatory oversight within the Biobanking Compliance Program.
• Time-bound: Complete development and launch the training program by a specified date, with all participants completing training within three months of launch.

Deliverables:

• Training Program Prototype: A functional prototype of the hybrid training program, including sample digital modules and a plan for in-person workshops.
• Resource Integration Plan: A detailed plan outlining how various educational resources and in-person sessions will be incorporated into the training program to ensure comprehensive coverage of all necessary topics.
• Guide and Documentation: A comprehensive user guide and documentation that provides step-by-step instructions for navigating both digital and in-person components of the training program, including module access, assessment completion, and troubleshooting tips.
• Presentation and Feedback Session: A final presentation to the Biobanking Compliance Program team demonstrating the training program's features and functionality, followed by a feedback session to gather input for potential improvements.
