Job TitleResponsible for maintaining a complex integrated system of financial services that contribute to cost effective accounting management control over the project financial records. Support the overall financial services and accounting tasks associated with the ABOS contract to provide accurate, timely, and reliable services and reports. Services include project controls, forecasting, cost analysis, and active participation in the overall accounting period close planning, financial accounting reconciliation and analysis, and cost reporting.ResponsibilitiesExercises responsibility over Project Control areas of the program including graphs, analytical review, and cost reporting.Ensures that all financial reporting activities for the program are thoroughly and timely prepared and reviewed and that all reports are in compliance with appropriate financial standards and company requirements.Assists Senior Management in development of strategic business plans and forecasts; monitors actual vs. budget/forecast ensuring financial statements provide a realistic view of the ABOS financial position.Overall financial compliance including review of financial procedures and practices to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.Interfaces with internal and external auditorsOther financial-related duties including consulting with senior management and functional managers regarding financial-related activities; develop and implement financial controls; conduct financial reviews of program areas; prepare and analyze various financial reports; develop and monitor performance metrics for financial management, and other duties as required.Maintain and organize all 332 records, including requests, estimates, BOMs, material requests, man-hour sheets, government approvals, and closeout documents.Track the entire lifecycle of each 332 from initiation to completion.Update logs for 332 statuses: awaiting approval, awaiting materials, awaiting manhours, in progress, and completed.Track and verify supporting documents such as as-built drawings, photos, permits, inspection logs, and applicable AF forms.Serve as the primary administrative point of contact between engineering, trades, supply, and safety for all 332 documentations.Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and engineers to gather any missing information needed to complete each 332 packages.Notify the engineering team of pending deadlines, missing documents, or required actions needed to advance a 332.Assist in scheduling meetings with government stakeholders for priority reviews and approvals.Enter and update 332 data in NexGen, SharePoint, and other internal tracking systems.Prepare weekly and monthly status reports detailing progress, backlog, and priority levels.Generate transmittals, document summaries, and audit-ready records as required.QualificationsEducation / Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.High school diploma or equivalentBachelor degree in accounting, finance or economics.Two or more years of experience in all areas of accounting finance including Financial Analysis or Project Controls.Experience in operations with multiple locations is preferred.Strong- knowledge level of automated financial systems. Specific knowledge regarding cost accounting data within financial systems is required.Material & Equipment Directly Used: Personal computer, printers, calculator, copy machine and other general office equipment.
