9/80 Work Schedule

This position will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Navarro employee in a staff augmentation position.

Navarro Research & Engineering is an award-winning federal contractor dedicated to partnering with clients to advance clean energy and deliver effective solutions for complex challenges in the nuclear and environmental fields. Headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Navarro has active programs in place across the nation for DOE/NNSA, NASA, and the Department of Defense.  the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Project Controls System. Perform cost estimating, analysis and control activities. As delegated to, supervises and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities. Identifies trends for management attention.

Develop and maintain schedules and resource loading for engineering support of projects provided by the Engineering Services Project Delivery Groups.
Performs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities. Supports project organizational and administrative activities, when delegated. Supervises and provides technical direction for cost engineering and/or planning/scheduling activities, when delegated. Ensures work is completed as scheduled. Identifies trends for management attention. Has wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and Laboratory objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Considered expert in field within the organization. Develops resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity and where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Work is accomplished without considerable direction. May coordinate activities of other personnel. Exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of assignment, and determines the methods and procedures needed for new assignments.

Requirements

Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum eight years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
