Project Coordinator Apply
Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our project management team with logistics coordination, materials tracking, purchase order (PO) management, shipment tracking, and other project-related administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with vendors, suppliers, and team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and materials tracking within a structured cabling, construction, or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics and Material Coordination
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to various job sites, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of items.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to monitor stock levels and anticipate material needs for upcoming projects.
- Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accurate documentation and availability of essential items.
- Purchase Order (PO) Tracking
- Manage and track purchase orders for materials and services, ensuring that POs are properly processed, approved, and followed up for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate documentation and resolve any discrepancies related to POs or invoices.
- Shipment Tracking
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure materials arrive on time and are delivered to the correct locations.
- Communicate shipment statuses to project managers and other stakeholders, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
- Project Support and Documentation
- Assist project managers in maintaining accurate project documentation, including job site records, status updates, and inventory lists.
- Support project managers with scheduling, resource allocation, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports summarizing project logistics and material statuses.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors and suppliers, ensuring clear and timely communication regarding orders, shipments, and invoices.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, logistics, or supply chain within the structured cabling, construction, or telecommunications industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for tracking and reporting.
- Experience with project management or inventory tracking software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
