About the Role

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Operations Contractor to lead coordination of a special initiative supporting DoorDash's growth and in-store operations. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence as we execute programs focused on improving fulfillment quality and merchant data accuracy.

In this role, you will manage audits and testing efforts across 75+ merchants, validate in-store conditions against merchant data, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate information is enabled at scale. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguity, managing complex, high-volume workflows, and using spreadsheets to track and validate detailed operational work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination and execution of a special project supporting in-store operations and fulfillment quality
  • Organize and execute merchant audits and testing efforts across a large regional merchant set, both in person and in partnership with Dashers
  • Validate in-store findings against merchant data, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and operational issues
  • Maintain detailed tracking of progress, results, and follow-ups using spreadsheets and internal tools
  • Partner cross-functionally (e.g., Operations, Integrations) to support how merchant data is reviewed, corrected, and enabled once accurate
  • Surface trends, risks, and recurring issues impacting merchant operations and fulfillment quality
  • Provide clear updates and documentation to support decision-making and operational improvements

Qualifications

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage high-volume, detail-heavy workflows
  • Strong comfort using spreadsheets for tracking, validation, and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and move quickly in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • Clear and concise communicator capable of coordinating across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in operations, field coordination, audits, or data-driven project work is a strong plus
