The Project Delivery Intern is responsible for providing administrative and project management support to grid scale wind, solar, and storage project Delivery team staff. Successful execution of this position requires clear and consistent coordination of multiple project stakeholders including project managers, controllers, developers, contractors, vendors, and engineers. The successful candidate should possess the ability to successfully navigate through and resolve complex problems.

Reporting to the Preconstruction Director, this position sits in Denver, CO, Houston, TX, Chicago, IL or Santa Barbara, CA is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

What youll do:

  • Provide project management coordination and support for large and complex wind, solar, and storage projects during the pre-construction phase of the project
  • Support request for proposal (RFP) process for engineering, procurement and construction services
  • Support pre-construction activity including site studies, surveys, preliminary engineering, and estimating
  • Support pre-construction Project Managers with various budgeting and accounting activities
  • Work various project stakeholders to ensure project schedules and costs are managed and tracking to plan
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all parties involved as projects move from development into construction

What you bring:

  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited 4-year degree program
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA
  • Demonstrated ability to be organized and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong Microsoft Software Applications skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve and achieve results by setting priorities
  • Results oriented team player with the ability to work independently within a large matrixed organization while effectively interfacing with the various cross-functional employee groups
