Overview The Project Designer works under the direct supervision of an Architect or Lead Designer, assisting in the development of design concepts, preparing detailed construction documents, drafting building plans, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes. They also support project coordination, contribute to client presentations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring architectural visions to completion. Job Type: Full Time Location: North Olmsted, OH Schedule: Hybrid Pay Range: $70,000-90,000 Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepares accurate working drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Effectively manages assigned tasks to meet project budgets and schedules, maintaining efficiency and accuracy. Applies knowledge of building codes, life safety, and fire protection regulations to ensure design compliance and risk mitigation. Collaborates with engineers and other disciplines to integrate architectural design with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Travels to project sites as needed to conduct site assessments, verify field conditions, and support project scope fulfillment. Contributes to departmental goals by assisting in various tasks, including research, documentation, and project coordination, to ensure operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Architecture required. Master of Science in Architecture preferred. 3+ years of relevant design experience in an architectural or engineering firm. MUST be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder. Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM 360, with the ability to produce and modify technical drawings. Strong understanding of building codes, life safety regulations, and fire protection requirements (or willingness to learn).
