Position Specific Description We are seeking a Project Director to join our team that is focused on developing, structuring, and contracting infrastructure solutions for hyperscalers and other large load customers. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating commercial agreements and developing infrastructure projects, with the ability to successfully lead complex projects from conception to completion. Relevant experience includes deep understanding of power markets, energy modeling, and electrical transmission interconnection, with strong project management and communication skills. Job Overview Job Duties & Responsibilities Manages all aspects of the day to day transaction process to ensure timely completion as well as a cost effective and competitive results Leads and coordinates key functions such as financial feasibility analyses, engineering/design, project legal review, permitting activities and financial negotiations Coordinates due diligence activities with other internal groups to ensure proper analysis and structuring of assigned projects Acts as liaison between internal and external specialists regarding procurement, contracting, permitting and interconnection Constructs contractual arrangements for project development Negotiates agreements with consultants and subcontractors Ensures compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements Fosters external relationships with customers, thirdparties and members of the community Identifies opportunities and negotiates power sales contracts Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Grad /GED Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience Experience: 7+ years Preferred Qualifications None NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
