elite | studio e (a NY-based company) is hiring a full-time Project Director located in Farmingdale, NY. Thi s individual must be proactive, highly organized, and passionate about managing projects from initial concept through completion. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their work, is motivated to build strong client relationships, and is excited to grow their career in a collaborative environment. Frequent national travel is required.

Reporting To:
Team Lead (VP, Project Solutions)

Duties:
The Project Director will be responsible for managing projects across both the design and implementation phases. Core responsibilities include:

• Leading internal project efforts across design, coordination, and construction phases
• Managing project financials, including proposals, budgets, and profitability
• Building and maintaining client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
• Overseeing the internal project team members assigned to support projects (Project Designers, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers)
• Acting as the primary liaison with clients, architects, engineers, general contractors, and foodservice operators
• Developing a strong working knowledge of foodservice design principles and construction requirements, including health code compliance
• Contributing leadership traits within project teams to drive positive outcomes
• Traveling as needed across the Continental U.S. for site visits, client meetings, and project management
• Working daily from our Farmingdale, NY office when not traveling

This role is designed for individuals who are ready to take ownership of project leadership responsibilities, while continuing to learn, grow, and expand their impact within the organization. It is a critical stepping stone toward greater leadership opportunities at elite|studio e.

Compensation:

• This position offers a base salary with the opportunity to earn commissions upon reaching minimum revenue targets. Candidates should be motivated to contribute to business development and build lasting client relationships as part of their career growth.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Prior experience in project management, business development, or client relations preferred
• Knowledge of design and construction processes; foodservice industry experience is a strong plus
• Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and clients
• Willingness to learn foodservice design principles and health code requirements
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Bluebeam is a bonus
• Financial acumen for project budgeting and profitability management
• Must be willing and able to travel frequently across the Continental U.S.
• Must work daily from our Farmingdale, NY office when not traveling
• Motivated, team-oriented, and hungry to grow professionally
