Role : Project Director (Behavioural Health CCBHC Planning) (Part-time)

Location: Rapid City, SD/Pierre, SD (Hybrid, 4 days onsite per every quarter)

Duration: 6-12+ months Contract

Scope:

  • The Client is seeking a project director to coordinate and manage all activities related to the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Planning grant.
  • The Project Director position will serve at a 50% FTE capacity (i.e., Part-time - 20hrs per week).
  • Project Director will assist with rate setting efforts, steering committee coordination and facilitation and overall communication strategy.
  • The Project Director will participate in prospective provider site visits as a part of the planning grant scope.
  • In addition, consumers, family members, providers, and other stakeholders will be represented in the steering committee for the planning grant and ultimate demonstration grant program, and will be kept informed of activities, changes, and processes related to CCBHC development and certification by the Project Director on a regular basis (monthly via email and quarterly virtual meetings, at minimum).

Mandatory qualifications:

  • Previous experience and direct knowledge of Client's behavioral health system, crisis response services and key partners in the delivery of those services.

Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide project management support to the DBH team to assist with overall coordination and management of grant activities. Two tracks are identified for areas of focus during the 1-year planning period, including Track 1: provider readiness and capacity building and Track 2: state readiness and provisional certification.
  • Assist with rate setting efforts.
  • Steering committee coordination and facilitation.
  • Develop overall communication strategy related to grant activities.
  • Material development
  • Assist in creation of RFP criteria for vendors identified in grant
  • Facilitate steering committee and maintain communication with stakeholders.
