Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our team, a general contractor specializing in tenant buildouts. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of tenant improvement projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the management and oversight of tenant buildout projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

• Coordinate between project stakeholders including architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project scope is met.

• Monitor project progress, including tracking schedules, budgets, and milestones.

• Assist in preparing and reviewing project proposals, change orders, and subcontractor agreements.

• Manage and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies on all projects.

• Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and next steps.

• Provide technical support to the project team as needed to resolve issues in the field.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably with a focus on tenant buildouts.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, project documentation, and industry best practices.

• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and construction site safety regulations.
