Overview ENERCON is seeking a Project Engineer to support civil structural projects within its Nuclear Services Group. The role involves developing technical engineering proposals, executing projects within budget and schedule constraints, and maintaining strong client relationships. The engineer will oversee project schedules, financials, and reporting, while actively supporting marketing initiatives to drive business growth. Applicants should have at least 5 years of nuclear engineering or project management experience and be ready to contribute to successful outcomes. This position can be based at any of our nuclear office locations: Chattanooga, TN Spring City, TN Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta) Baton Rouge, LA Overland Park, KS Birmingham, AL Athens, AL Naperville, IL King of Prussia, PA Glendale, AZ Harrisburg, PA Ft Worth, TX Pittsburgh, PA Responsibilities Lead strategic project discussions and coordinate interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and deadlines are met. Maintain client relationships, manage project scope, and serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects. Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedules and budgets. Develop detailed project reports and regularly report financial status and overall performance to management. Collaborate with technical staff to prepare winning, highly technical engineering proposals. Support marketing efforts, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and following up. Qualifications Design Engineering experience with modification, implementation, calculations, and specifications in power facilities. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or PMP Certification with 8 years of applicable experience. PE license strongly preferred. Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes. Excellent organizational, time‑management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision‑making, and presentation skills. Effective communication skills across disciplines and teams. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Capability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites. Travel willingness of 10‑15% of the time; travel duration may vary from a few days to several weeks. Compensation USD $90,000.00 – USD $175,000.00 per year (good‑faith estimate; actual compensation may vary).
