Overview Join ENERCON as a Project Engineer supporting civil structural projects for our Nuclear Services Group. Your role will involve developing winning engineering proposals with technical staff, executing projects within budget and schedule constraints, and maintaining robust client relationships. This role can sit out of any of our nuclear office locations, including but not limited to: Chattanooga, TN Spring City, TN Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta) Baton Rouge, LA Overland Park, KS Birmingham, AL Athens, AL Naperville, IL King of Prussia, PA Glendale, AZ Harrisburg, PA Ft Worth, TX Pittsburgh, PA Responsibilities A typical day in this role will include leading strategic project discussions, aligning your team to ensure quality and deadlines are met, while keeping clients informed and engaged. You'll dive into problem-solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities - all while motivating your team to turn every challenge into a win. Leadership & Coordination: Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure the project solution and quality goals are met. Manage client interactions and negotiate/control project scope to client and company's satisfaction. Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projects Project Management Excellence: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedule and within budget. Understand project schedules, project management plans, and manage project staff to ensure project requirements are met. Formulate/develop detailed project reports. Understand project financials and be able to report regularly to management on financial status and overall project performance Strategic Growth & Innovation: Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals. Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up #LI-SH7 Qualifications Design Engineering experience with the modification and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear or power industries as an Engineer or Project Manager Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering OR PMP Certification and 8 years' applicable experience PE license strongly preferred Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks Compensation Range USD $90,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr. Additional Information The compensation range listed is a good-faith estimate of the compensation expected for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity. Some positions may be performed remotely in one or more U.S. states. Compensation is aligned with applicable pay transparency requirements and reflects expected compensation at the time of posting.
