Job Title: Senior Project Engineer/Field Engineer (Heavy Civil)
Location: Winterhaven, CA
Position Type: Full-Time | On-site
As a Senior Project Engineer you'll work on one project at a time with the opportunity to expand your experience as new project starts. We need your expertise in need your expertise in building and rebuilding roads on the boarder of Mexico, California and Arizona. This project kicks off first Quarter 2026 and will approximately be 3 year projects. Our backlog is plenty and if your background in civil construction is in line with the work we do then we want to hear from you. You'll thrive in an environment that fosters collaboration and communication looking beyond a single project to make sure you have your next project before your project completes.

Your Work Will Include:
  • Assist in developing and implementing project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Prepare project work plans, work element plans, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage project engineering assignments and activities to ensure compliance with company, contract, and schedule requirements.
  • Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews.
  • Develop and maintain all job reporting, including quality control reports and logs to ensure project compliance.
Here's What You'll Need
  • At least ten years of experience in the Heavy Civil Construction industry
  • Be able to meet the physical demands as described below
  • Knowledge and experience in AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.
Ideally, You'll Also Have Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Construction experience combined with a Civil Engineering degree
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for access to secured facilities, including military bases with our company support team.
