Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 per year, plus benefits and performance-based incentives

With offices in Washington and Arizona, we support municipalities, utilities, and private clients on treatment facilities, pump and lift stations, water transmission and distribution systems, operations support, and regulatory permitting. We operate lean and deliver efficient, high-impact solutions.

Role Summary

ADC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with 8+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience, an active PE license, and strong technical execution skills. This role focuses on design leadership, coordination, and quality while supporting complex infrastructure projects

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Support projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support
  • Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Develop and review AutoCAD drawings for water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Perform hydraulic modeling for water and wastewater systems
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and budgets
  • Perform QA/QC to ensure regulatory compliance and technical accuracy
  • Support client coordination, meetings, and technical discussions
  • Assist with construction administration and field support

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field
  • 8+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling
  • Experience supporting projects through design and construction phases
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with treatment facilities, pump stations, and pipeline design
  • Familiarity with Washington State regulatory requirements
  • Experience with smart water systems, asset management, or resiliency planning
  • Participation in AWWA, WEA, or similar organizations
