At Envalior, we are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our Technology & Engineering – Project & CAPEX Management team in Antwerp. In this role, you will lead small projects from concept to execution and support larger projects as a mechanical engineer. You’ll ensure that our installations meet the highest standards in quality, safety, and reliability – playing a vital role in keeping our production future-proof. IMAGINE THE FUTURE AT ENVALIOR As a Project Engineer , you are responsible for managing and executing investment projects at our Antwerp site. You will coordinate all project phases – from scoping and design to construction and handover – while ensuring compliance with budget, timing, safety, and quality requirements. You will make key contribution to Envalior: Lead small (multidisciplinary) CAPEX projects from concept to handover. Act as a mechanical engineer within large projects, supporting with equipment specification and technical standards. Define project scope and align with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Manage engineering activities across all disciplines (mechanical, piping, E&I, civil). Prepare and approve technical documentation such as P&IDs, specifications, and drawings. Handle procurement activities, budget approvals, and project organization in SAP. Coordinate construction, testing, and commissioning in line with SHEQ principles. Ensure compliance with European standards, Envalior guidelines, and internal safety regulations. Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting the “Improve Plant” project cycle. A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent through experience). At least 5 years of experience in project engineering within a plant or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of technical norms, standards, and engineering processes. Familiarity with tools such as SAP, COMOS, AutoCAD , and related project systems. Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. A proactive, result‑oriented mindset with strong decision‑making and teamwork abilities.
