We’re expanding our team!  Project Engineer, Expansion Joints and Bellows.

U.S. Bellows, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing expansion joints for engineered pipe and duct-work in the industry since the 1960s and has been a proud member of the Expansion Joint Manufacturer's Association (EJMA) since 2002.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the engineering and design of high performance expansion joints.
  • Oversee all elements required to produce high performance expansion joints, including the raw materials, machinery, equipment and personnel. 
  • Develop new business.
  • Direct quoting activities.
  • Manage the order and order fulfillment process, including material management and employee scheduling.
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of products to ensure customer expectations are met and company production standards are maintained.
  • Improve efficiencies by developing improved methods of design and production to decrease waste and increase production capabilities.
  • Adhere to a budget, including material and employee management

Requirements

  • B.S., Mechanical Engineering
  • 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing and fabrication.
  • involvement in overall manufacturing division planning and management
  •   Previous experience in either project management, application design, engineering, estimating, pricing quotations, design and drafting of all fabrication drawings and responsible for all estimates.
  • Sales and customer service experience with pricing for engineering requests.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience with EJMA and ASME Section VIII design and welding procedures, a plus.
  • Knowledge of “U” and “R” Stamps for ASME Section VIII pressure vessels. 
  • 3D CAD (Inventor, Pro/E, Catia, SolidWorks) Parametric Automation Programming
  • Mechanical Experiment design/data acquisition and analysis
  • FEA Ansys Linear/Non-Linear, Cosmos
  • Classical Analysis Mathcad
  • Visual Basic and General Database Programming
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
