Project Estimator - LNG Date: Jun 12, 2026 Location: Houston, TX; Savannah, GA; Fort Worth, TX; Tulsa, OK; Fort Myers, FL; Oklahoma City, OK; Fayetteville, AR; San Jose, CA; Tucson, AZ; Milwaukee, WI; Austin, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Orlando, FL; Memphis, TN; Garner, NC; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Columbia, SC; Tampa, FL; Atlanta, GA; Overland Park, KS Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies The Opportunity As a Project Estimator, you will support the preparation and review of lump‑sum, unit‑rate, and cost‑plus estimates for a diverse client base across the full process and oil & gas spectrum, with a focus on LNG and both onshore and offshore installations. Key Responsibilities Responsible for conceptual estimating, cost analysis and estimate coordination and consolidation Reviews the design scope and develops quantities Prepares direct labor estimates, distributable or contractors indirect cost estimates Assists the Lead Estimator with an independent assessment of an estimate's accuracy after completion of the estimate and summarization of all detailed man‑hours, material, construction and home office costs Performs productivity analysis of estimates Prepares contingency, escalation and reconciliations for estimates Performs comparisons of scope, quantities and cost data between projects Prepares management presentations and develops the estimate basis Updates and maintains historical cost data Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives where appropriate Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements Minimum Qualifications 8 plus years of relevant experience Field and/or project experience All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include a criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Preferred Qualifications BS or MS graduate in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required) Complex estimating principles/procedures Cost principles/procedures Mathematical skills Project design scopes Consulting skills Analytical skills Interpret and understand specifications, contracts, typical construction drawings Microsoft Office 365; Microsoft CoPilot 365 Good verbal and written communication skills Good presentation and interpersonal communication skills Presentation skills InEight Aspen Capital Cost Estimator Work Environment / Physical Demands Typical office environment. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments. This position will require an average of 0–5% travel.
