JOB DESCRIPTION:

NEO International are currently partnered with a Multidisciplinary Civil Contractor with a national presence to identify a Project Executive for their San Antonio or Austin office.


The Project Executive will be responsible for overseeing multiple Heavy Civil projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.


Responsibilities:

  1. Provide strategic leadership and direction for all phases of heavy civil projects, including planning, design, construction, and closeout.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success and foster long-term partnerships.
  3. Lead project teams effectively, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to project managers, engineers, and other staff members.
  4. Establish project objectives, budgets, schedules, and performance metrics, and monitor progress to ensure goals are met or exceeded.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, scheduling software, cost estimating, and financial analysis.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating teams, driving results, and resolving conflicts effectively.
