Position: Project Lead
Location: Georgetown, KY, 40324
Duration: 11 Months
Job Type: Contract
Shift: 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST
Work Type: Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week Onsite)
Travel: 10% Domestic travel and the chances are very less for international travel.
Overtime: 10%
Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
  • Review Project request, Clarify Scope with Stakeholders.
  • Develop projects scope in preparation for bidding process.
  • Process project Bids, determine best options, recommend approval based on detailed analysis.
  • Manage overall project schedule and budget including management reporting.
  • Prepare project status reports addressing schedule, budget, safety, and current open issues.
  • Monitor contractor performance as to safety, cost and schedule performance tracking.
  • Development of detailed user criteria documentation for project implementation activities.
  • Development of scope of work for the procurement of materials and labor.
  • Review Specifications, Utility Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordination with customers.
  • Monitor and coordinate architect/engineer site visits and responses to contractor inquiries.
  • Monitor delivery and review of shop drawings and submittals.
  • Coordinate update and review meetings with contractors and consultants to monitor progress on activities.
  • Provide an initial review of vendor and contractor payment applications, validating actual project progress against approved schedule of values.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and make recommendations regarding proposed change directives & change orders.
  • Oversee the contractor's Quality Control program and ensure Quality Control procedures adhere to the plans.
  • Position also manages E&F Planning headcount database.
Requirements:
  • Project Estimating experience will be a great plus.
    Checking and making that final project budget will be a plus.
  • Someone with prior experience in Reviewing Specifications, Utility Standards, Drawing Reviews, and coordinating with customers.
  • Experience with individual project construction types of various scope and size.
  • Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
  • Desired Skills: Software capabilities: AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Microsoft Visio
  • Some who has HVAC knowledge, Constructions Drawing understanding etc.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Architecture, or Construction Mgmt is mandatory
  • Construction and/or contractor management experience.
  • Construction project management experience +5 years working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with individual project construction types of various scope and size.
  • Technical knowledge of design/building construction engineering and schedule management
  • Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of project scheduling and estimating
  • General understanding of construction safety programs and requirements
  • Software capabilities: AutoCAD, Blue Beam, Microsoft Visio
