Job Description

Title: Project Management Consultant (1)

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Pay: $30.00-$34.00/hour

Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 12-Month Contract

This role is responsible for managing early-stage renewable energy projects from development through pre-construction. It involves coordinating technical, financial, and commercial activities to ensure projects are viable, on schedule, and ready for successful transition to construction.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of assigned renewable energy projects, working closely with a regional lead to manage projects through early-stage development and prepare them for handoff to the construction team.
  • Oversee daily project management, ensuring each project is technically feasible, on schedule, commercially supported, and financially viable.
  • Analyze technical and financial data to identify key variables, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Support the creation, ownership, and ongoing management of project capital budgets.
  • Provide development and permitting support by coordinating with subject matter experts and engineering teams.
  • Actively contribute to problem-solving, facilitate engineering processes, and support capital budget approvals.
  • Assist in developing construction plans and schedules, support contract negotiations and execution, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Utilize various software tools to manage project data, track deliverables, and support overall project execution.
  • Communicate project updates and insights to senior leadership with guidance from the regional lead.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support team organization, data management, and overall project readiness.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong financial and data analysis skills
  • Mechanical aptitude or interest in technical systems
  • Experience in construction, energy, or renewable energy industries (preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in project management
