Location: Juno Beach, FL

Pay: $40.00-$46.00/hour

Schedule: Standard Office Hours

Duration: 12-Month Contract

In this role, you will support and manage early-stage solar construction projects within a large renewable energy organization. Working under limited direction from a Regional Lead Project Manager, you will contribute across technical, commercial, construction, and financial functions. This position offers strong opportunities for career growth within the project management track.

This is an in-office role based in Juno Beach, FL within the Pre-Construction (early-stage) group.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage and support a portfolio of solar projects through early-stage development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading assigned solar projects through the early-stage lifecycle in preparation for transition to the construction team
  • Ensuring projects are technically feasible, financially viable, commercially supported, and aligned with schedule expectations
  • Analyzing technical and financial data to identify trends, risks, and key project indicators
  • Supporting the development, ownership, and management of project capital budgets
  • Coordinating development and permitting activities with internal subject matter experts
  • Supporting engineering efforts and assisting in technical problem resolution
  • Contributing to construction planning, scheduling, and project optimization initiatives
  • Assisting with negotiation and execution of commercial contracts
  • Managing project data, deliverables, and workflows across multiple software platforms
  • Supporting communication with senior leadership alongside the Regional Lead
  • Performing additional project coordination and administrative tasks as needed to ensure team readiness and project success


Essential Duties and Functions

  • Oversee daily progress and coordination of assigned projects
  • Track and manage project milestones, risks, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and construction
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Support budget tracking, approvals, and financial forecasting
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Ensure alignment with internal standards, procedures, and project objectives


Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
  • Basic understanding of technical and mechanical systems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with standard business and project management software tools
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-driven mindset
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to work independently with limited supervision


Preferred:

  • Experience in construction, energy, or solar industries
  • Exposure to project management principles or environments
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in project management
  • Combination of technical aptitude and financial/business acumen
