I'm working with a well-established engineering organisation and am looking for a Project Administrator / PMO professional. You'll support complex, long-term development programmes. This is a governance-focused PMO role, working closely with project and programme managers to ensure projects are planned realistically, controlled effectively, and continuously improved, with exposure across early-phase, development and production-stage projects.The position suits someone who enjoys working at the centre of technically complex projects and is confident challenging assumptions around schedule, cost and resources.This is not an administrative or secretarial role! It is for someone with real hands-on experience in project management and everything that it entails. You will act as a critical and trusted partner to programme managers. Key responsibilitiesBuild, maintain and challenge integrated project schedules for complex development projectsSupport project governance across planning, budgeting, resourcing and reportingTranslate technical inputs into structured, logical project plans and cost forecastsTrack plan vs actual performance and support corrective actionsMaintain project data in planning and ERP-style systems and contribute to reportingWork closely with programme managers and cross-functional stakeholdersPrepare inputs for project reviews and management decision-makingFacilitate and moderate project and planning meetings, including hybrid or agile-style sessionsSupport continuous improvement of project management processes and toolsMust-haves / requirementsExperience in a PMO, project planning or project control roleStrong scheduling capability using professional planning tools (e.g. MS Project or similar)Solid experience in project planning, budgeting and resource managementConfident communicator with the ability to challenge inputs constructivelyStrong analytical skills and a structured, methodical working styleComfortable working in structured, engineering-led environmentsBusiness-fluent English and at least C1 level GermanPlease note: This is 3-year fixed term contract
