Control Systems Project ManagerOur client is looking for an experienced Control Systems Project Manager to take ownership of complex electrical and automation projects—covering everything from design coordination and panel build through to PLC/SCADA integration, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning.Office 90% / Site 10% as needed by projects. UK travel to customer sites, factories, and FAT locations (approx. 10-15%)If you thrive in a technical project environment and want to deliver critical power solutions that keep major infrastructure running, this role is for you.What You’ll Be DoingManaging full project lifecycle: design, build, test, install, commission, and client handoverCoordinating electrical design, panel build teams, PLC/SCADA engineers, and site activitiesCreating and controlling programmes, risk registers, change logs, and cost plansRunning FAT/SAT, reviewing drawings (SLDs, GAs, schematics), and assuring documentationManaging contracts, variations, suppliers, and subcontractorsLeading client meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communicationEnsuring compliance with CDM 2015, BS 7671 H&S, RAMS, and site standardsWhat You’ll Bring5–10 years managing UK electrical/control systems projectsExperience with PLC/SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider)Hands‑on commissioning and FAT/SAT experienceAbility to read/mark up AutoCAD/EPLAN drawingsStrong commercial awareness and client-facing communication skillsKnowledge of CDM, site practice, and safe subcontractor managementDesirable: APM/PRINCE2/PMP, Electrical HND/Degree, 18th Edition, ECS/CSCS/SMSTS, functional safety or cyber standards awareness.
