Project Manager - Heavy Civil and Site Work Contra Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and drive our heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in site development and a strong understanding of scheduling and utilities management. This role is central to ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate site development activities, including earthwork, concrete work, and utility installation.
• Oversee the planning and execution of underground utilities, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main installations.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of site development processes and scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in managing underground utilities, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
