The Fountain Group is currently seeking a IT Project Manager – for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Santa Monica, CA. Details for the position are as follows: Job Title: IT Project Manager II Location: Hybrid – Santa Monica, CA (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Pay Rate: Up to $76.64/hr Relocation: Open to candidates willing to relocate at their own expense Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager II to support a fast‑paced pharmaceutical organization. This role functions as a hybrid between a traditional Project Manager and Business Analyst, requiring strong stakeholder engagement, analytical thinking, and the ability to drive IT initiatives from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and an effective communicator who thrives in dynamic environments. This position will play a key role in developing financial reporting dashboards, managing IT project delivery, and collaborating with multiple vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Project Management Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage project scope, timelines, and finances to ensure successful delivery. Oversee project execution and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations. Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure project commitments align with organizational standards and project management methodologies. Stakeholder & Vendor Management Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and leadership. Provide regular project updates, status reporting, and risk escalation. Collaborate with multiple vendors and internal teams to support successful project outcomes. Participate in or lead RFP/RFI development and vendor selection processes. Business Analysis & Reporting Partner with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Translate business needs into actionable IT project deliverables. Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards using Power BI. Maintain project documentation, reporting, and status updates across stakeholders. Evaluate technology solutions and support build vs. buy recommendations. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in IT Project Management. Experience working in a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst role. Experience building financial reporting dashboards using Power BI. Strong stakeholder communication and vendor management skills. Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources. Experience supporting RFP/RFI processes. Ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments. Highly proactive, organized, and adaptable. Work Environment Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite in Santa Monica, CA and 2 days remote.
