Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Lead project planning, timeline development, and resource allocation for the design, development, and implementation of SharePoint communication and team sites.

Manage the migration of local share files to SharePoint, ensuring data integrity and security.

Coordinate communication across teams and stakeholders, maintaining a clear project plan, milestones, and deliverables.

Monitor project progress to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
-
Handle risk management, issue resolution, and change requests to ensure alignment with project goals.

Prepare and deliver regular status updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders, including Town management.
Business Analysis:

Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for SharePoint site design, workflows, and document management system development.

Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend SharePoint workflows to automate and improve process efficiency.

Develop functional specifications and requirements documentation for SharePoint communication sites and team sites, ensuring alignment with departmental needs.

Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and guidelines in the design of document management systems, including retention schedules.

Design user-friendly interfaces for SharePoint sites with custom branding, layouts, and features to meet client needs.
Collaboration & Training:

Collaborate with IT and development teams to oversee the design, development, and implementation of SharePoint workflows and document management systems.

Coordinate and conduct training sessions for IT staff and municipal employees to ensure effective use and administration of SharePoint systems.

Ensure effective communication plans are in place to inform employees about the SharePoint migration and new processes.

Establish ongoing support mechanisms for troubleshooting and user assistance post-implementation.
Security & Compliance:

Lead comprehensive security reviews and define access control settings for the SharePoint document management system, ensuring proper permissions and security protocols.

Ensure data security standards are upheld throughout the migration of local files and within the document management system.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager/Business Analyst in IT systems development, particularly in SharePoint implementation projects.

Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is an advantage.

Project management expertise with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Experience in SharePoint development, including site design, workflow automation, document management systems, and file migration.
