Job Summary:
The Project Manager leads customer projects from order handoff through fabrication, delivery, installation, and closeout. This role is the main point of contact for customers and coordinates internal teams to keep schedules, communication, and deliverables on track.
Ideal candidates have experience in construction, steel fabrication, or custom manufacturing and are comfortable managing timelines and customer communication in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers after order handoff, managing communication, expectations, schedules, and deliverables
Coordinate with Sales to confirm order scope, timelines, and customer requirements
Lead internal coordination across engineering, fabrication/production, shipping, installation, services, and training teams
Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are met from design release through installation
Oversee fabrication progress and coordinate production priorities as needed
Coordinate shipping logistics, including domestic and international deliveries
Work closely with Field Services to align installation schedules, site readiness, and resolve on-site issues or material gaps
Ensure required project drawings and documentation are delivered to the customer and manage revisions or additional requirements.
Maintain accurate project information in the ERP system, including order details, schedules, and status updates.
Participate in project review and coordination meetings to proactively identify and resolve risks
Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to support efficient project execution

Knowledge/Experience Required:
5+ years of project management or project coordination experience in construction, steel fabrication, custom manufacturing, or industrial environments
Experience coordinating shop production, logistics/shipping, and installation schedules
Strong customer-facing communication and ability to manage expectations
Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects and timelines
ERP experience (scheduling, order tracking, material status/reporting)
Preferred:Steel fabrication shop or custom manufacturing experience
Experience coordinating installation schedules and site readiness
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Industrial Technology, or related field
PMP or similar project management certification
