Position Overview:

Your role as a Project Manager will involve overseeing and leading strategic projects for our clients while also serving as an essential project management resource for our internal projects. You will be responsible for aligning internal, external, and other third-party resources, helping define projects as needed, and delivering all projects according to the scope, on time, and within budget. You will also handle any changes to the scope, budget, and project timeline to meet the expected outcome. You will work under the supervision of the COO.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 4 to 8 years in delivering high-end IT services in various enterprise environments. They should have proven experience in monitoring, tracking, and measuring project performance using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Excel. They should also possess a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Additionally, the candidate should have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. A PMP or equivalent certification is highly desired.


Key Responsibilities


Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals
  • Coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Manage project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.


Resource Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project costs to meet the budget.


Communication and Reporting:

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations through the project life cycle.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and project success.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.


 Team Leadership:

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the project's success.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.


Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
  • Conduct project postmortems and create recommendations reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.


Summary of Responsibilities

• Assist sales/ technology managers with project scoping as necessary

• Create detailed project plans and track progress against those project base lines

• Collaborate with internal stake holders to determine resources, ensure resource availability and scheduling/ allocation

• Establish a communication schedule to update steak holders and appropriate staff (both internal and external)

• Measure project performance vs scoping/ baseline and perform the appropriate risk management to diminish project risk

• Maintain Project Documentation

• Report project status to stake holders and Project Services Director

• Assist with internal time tracking system configuration, tracking and maintenance for both Project and Managed Services

• Escalate issues to Project Services Director as necessary

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing delivery standards. (Project postmortems, project check ins, etc.)

• College education (bachelor’s degree or higher) desired
