Project Manager - Asphalt Paving

Local Grading and Paving Company is seeking a 5yr minimum experienced Asphalt Paving Project Managment candidate with estimating abilities to join their well-respected local Construction Team. Work is local... No overnight travel necessary.

Job Responsibilities/ Qualifications:
  • Prior Project Management Experience within Asphalt Paving
  • Steady Work History
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to work in a high production environment and meet deadlines
  • Maintain communication w/ other PM's to ensure all material, equipment, and schedule needs are met
  • Calculating the number of trucks required to haul asphalt from the plant to the job site and coordinating these trucking needs with hauling partner(s)
  • Communicating with asphalt plant as-needed throughout the day
  • Acting as the main point of contact regarding the project from scheduling to completion
  • Maintaining daily time and material records
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Completing site inspections before, during, and after project completion
  • Communicating daily/weekly goals with the crew to ensure the team meets or is ahead of schedule
  • Being flexible to perform other duties as needed to get the job done
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
