Location: Onsite Role in Lorton, VA, 22079

Duration: Full-Time

Interview process: Phone then Video

Work Authorization US Citizen.

Must be comfortable for small video screening call with the vendor.

JOB DESCRIPTION-:

  • Commercial Project Management: Extensive experience in overseeing commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to lead project teams, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Budget and Time Management: Skilled at maintaining project budgets and ensuring deadlines are met consistently.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of commercial construction projects, from planning to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate efforts across different departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, working proactively to find solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide updates and address any concerns.
  • Prepare project reports and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

Key Traits:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Solid understanding of commercial construction processes and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the commercial sector.

  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage project budgets effectively.
